Roxanne Lenice Zickmund of Eureka Springs, Arkansas was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on October 19, 2021 surrounded by family.

Roxy was born on September 17, 1943 in Salem, Oregon. She graduated from Madison High School and then attended Portland State College. Roxy accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Lord and Savior at Vacation Bible School while attending Montevilla Baptist Church in Portland, Oregon where she was baptized.

In 1978 she moved to Arlington, Texas where she attended Pantego Bible Church. She met her husband, Joe, in 1993. They traveled frequently and discovered Eureka Springs in 1995 and decided to move there to start a new life by opening a restaurant named The Roxy. Roxy attended the First Baptist Penn Memorial Church and later Lone Star Bible Church. She was a strong supporter of the Good Shepherd Humane Society and a member of the Holiday Island Artist Guild.

Roxy will be remembered for her intelligence, class, style, and grace wrapped in a beautiful smile and warm embrace. She never met a stranger, always with a sparkle in her eye inviting conversation. Her love for others was obvious in her behavior and actions. She developed many lifelong friendships throughout her travels in her Earth Suit. Roxy was a believer in Jesus Christ, artist, chef, and animal lover. She will be loved and missed by many around the country, but never forgotten.

Roxy leaves to cherish her memory her husband Joseph James Zickmund; daughter Kayleen Cress Crain; grandson Mason Cress; brothers Jay Everett Tull and Roger Probert; as well as many other family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her father Cliff Probert; mother Mary Louise Gayton Tull; stepfather James Everett Tull; sister Leslie Jolane Tull.

A Life Memorial Service will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 2, 2021, at Valley View Baptist Church with Pastor David Schmidt officiating. An Artist Reception for Roxy will be 7:00 p.m. until all memories are shared, which should last hours, Saturday, November 6, 2021, at The Roxy, Upper Room Local Art Expressions, 95 Spring Street, Eureka Springs, AR 72632. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Good Shepherd Humane Society, 6486 Hwy 62 E, Eureka Springs, AR 72632, www.goodshepherd-hs.org.
