Beth Inez Albrecht Conner
Beth Inez Albrecht Conner of Alpena, AR was born on 6/11/1934 in Coeur D Alene, ID to Jakob and Mildred (Fatzinger) Albrecht. She passed away on Oct 5th, 2021, in Fayetteville, AR at the age of 87.
She grew up in Montana 30 miles from the nearest town, on the farm.
Some of her fondest memories were wandering the wheat fields and hills with her cousins.
On April 4th 1956, she was united in marriage to Loyd Winston Conner, sharing 63 years full of adventure, family and friends. During her life she and her husband moved 18 times and raised three children.
She was adventurous, she enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting, and spending time outdoors.
She was an avid cook, and seamstress, she enjoyed rock hunting, lapidary work, and jewelry making.
She gave her children what she referred to as a “Good German Upbringing” clothes on their backs, food in their bellies, and a roof over their heads. The rest was left up to us to find our own path.
Throughout her life she adopted many strays, people, and animals alike.She was a “Mom” to all who met her. She was a cub scout leader and mentored many, children, all of whom still consider “Mom” to this day.
She was a passionate Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother.
She is survived by her children Dale Conner, Mark Conner, Derinda Lyons; grandchildren Rainbows, Zeus, Precious, Dazzle, Heaven, Sky, Chandler, Dakota, Kerry, Melody, Taylor; great grandchildren Cheyenne, Tristan, Jaxon, Zaya, Wyatt; along with other family members and friends.
Beth is preceded in death by her husband Loyd Conner; parents Jacob and Mildred Albrecht; brother Clark Albrecht.
Graveside service will be 10:00 am, Saturday, October 9, 2021, at Alpena Cemetery with Bro. Roger McMahon. Arrangements are under the direction of Nelson Funeral Service. Online condolences may be sent to the family at nelsonfuneral.com.
