The Friends of the Berryville Library want local residents to have their cake and eat it, too.

The group will be selling a cookbook chock-full of dessert recipes submitted by the many Friends of the Library members who have shared their culinary skills at bake sales over the years. All proceeds from the sale of the cookbook — titled Eat Dessert First! — will benefit the library building project.

“These cookbooks make a wonderful holiday gift idea for anyone on your list,” said Friends board member Carol Ann Engskov. “Your support of purchasing these cookbooks will help us get even closer to reaching our goal of building a new library that will serve our community for generations to come.”

The cookbooks will be available for $15 at the Berryville Library, Stubbs Grocery and Double A Thrift and Flip.

For more information on the Eat Dessert First! cookbook, contact Engskov at 870-423-4857.
