The Green Forest Lady Tigers earned their second victory of the season last Thursday night, beating Eureka Springs in four sets on the Lady Highlanders’ home floor.

Green Forest won 25-19, 15-25, 25-18, 25-18.

“We started out a little slow but we ended up kind of taking care of business,” Green Forest coach Terri Harness said.

On Tuesday, Sept. 14, Green Forest lost to Paris in three sets. The Lady Eagles finished as state tournament runners-up last season.

“It’s always a tough game,” Harness said.

Harness praised the play of senior Samantha Delavin and junior Allie Snow.

The Lady Tigers hosted Berryville on Monday and will travel to Lincoln on Tuesday.
