The Green Forest Tigers kept right on rolling in high school soccer action last week, recording a pair of lopsided victories.

Green Forest defeated Bergman 14-0 on Tuesday, March 30. Two days later, the Tigers shut out Eureka Springs 10-0.

Senior Emerson Ortiz led the way against Bergman with three goals. Sophomore Elvin Montoya added two goals, and nine Tigers scored a goal apiece: Jordy Deleon, Moo Htoo, Collin Delavin, Lah Kapro, Andy Lopez, Kelvin Garcia, Jesus Flores, Bluh Soh and Anthony Gonzalez.

It was more of the same in the Tigers’ victory over Eureka Springs. Ortiz poured in four goals, while Montoya, Kapro, Flores, Pablo Leon, Gabriel Holland and Izzak Merida all had one goal apiece.

Green Forest will play twice on the road this week, traveling to Rogers on Thursday to face Arkansas Arts Academy before playing at Harrison on Friday.
