Charles Edward Horstman of Springdale, Arkansas was born October 28, 1931 in Muse, Oklahoma to Albert and Louis (Duke) Horstman. Charles passed away March 22, 2021 in Springdale at the age of 89.
Charles was a Christian and attended Calvary Freewill Baptist Church. He served in the Navy during the Korean War. Charles went on to retire as a Federal USDA Grader. He enjoyed sitting on the back porch feeding the squirrels, when he was younger, he liked to go hunting, fishing, and traveling.
On December 27, 2014 Charles was united in marriage to Patty (Madewell) Horstman who survives him of the home. He is also survived by his sons Brian Horstman and wife Kathy, Vernon Horstman and wife Arlene; grandchildren Preston, Darrin, Jerad, Mitzi, Tyler, Danielle, Kelly, Daniel; great grandchildren Shaylee, Oakley, Lillie, Henleigh, Kaysen, Maverick, Bowen, Colt; sister Alma Clark; brother George Horstman; sister Carolyn Grogan; along with several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Charles is preceded in death by his parents, first wife Chloe Jean Horstman; siblings Mike Horstman, Val Graham, Dorothy Kuhnert.
Visitation will be 5:00 till 7:00 pm, March 25, 2021 at the Charles M. Nelson Memorial Chapel. Funeral services will be 10:00 am, March 26, 2021 at the Charles M. Nelson Memorial Chapel with Pastor Clark Snow officiating. Interment at Berryville Memorial Park Cemetery in Berryville.
