All-Region Band

Six Berryville students recently earned recognition as members of the Arkansas School Band and Orchestra Association’s Region 6 All-Region honor band. Those recognized were (front, from left) sophomore Briana Hernandez on clarinet, sophomore Alaycia Earl, on clarinet, (back from left) sophomore Kelci Blevins on French horn, sophomore Shelby Carpenter on clarinet and seventh-grader Garrett Tibbets on trombone. Sophomore clarinet player Felicity Valiente (not pictured) was named as an alternate. Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, auditions for this year’s band were virtual and those chosen will not perform a concert, but each student will get the chance to participate in a virtual workshop specific to their instrument.
