Joylin Annette White, 57, of Green Forest departed this life peacefully on Thursday, January 21, 2021 after a courageous battle with breast cancer. She was born on November 21, 1963.
Joylin graduated from Green Forest High School in 1982. In school she enjoyed being a member of the Green Forest Tiger marching band as a Majorette. She was also involved in various clubs including FBLA, Art and FHA. After high school she attended Bauder Fashion College in Arlington, TX. She was a part of the Tyson family at both Green Forest and Berryville for 34 years, and most recently enjoyed working at The Great Passion Play, both places forming everlasting friendships and memories throughout her career.
Joylin was an active member of the Southern Heights Baptist Church where she sang in the choir, taught Sunday school and Awanas for many years. The things Joylin enjoyed most in life were spending time with her family, friends and beloved pets. She adored her dog and is eternally grateful to Aunt Brenda and Uncle Bob for welcoming “Sweet Maggie Girl” into their home. Joylin also had a great love for fashion, cooking, flowers, and crafts. Joylin’s greatest blessings in her short life were her two children, Kyle and Haley. Above all else she loved being a devoted mother. The two of them were her world and brought her great happiness.
Joylin is preceded in death by her grandparents, Henry and Ruth Collins, Cecil and Geraldine Stewart, infant brothers, Brian and Gary Stewart. She is survived by her son Kyle White (Rosalinda) of Green Forest AR, daughter Haley White of Farmington AR. Parents, Sharon and Freddie Stewart of Green Forest AR, sister Kathy (Bobby) Holman of Fayetteville AR, sister Shelly (Billy) Murray of Cicero NY. Niece Logan Wood and great nephew Freddie. Nephew Dustin Holman and great niece Brooke. Nephew Weston (Morgan) Holman and great niece Emmy. Nephews Tayte, Garrett and Ryan Murray. Along with numerous Aunts, Uncles, and cousins.
Visitation will be 5:00 pm till 7:00 pm, Friday, February 5, 2021, at Nelson Green Forest Chapel in Green Forest. Funeral service will be 10:00 am, Saturday, February 6, 2021 at Nelson Green Forest Chapel with Pastor Keith Moore and Pastor Brandon Pearce officiating.
