Mercy Hospital Berryville Auxiliary installs officers

The Mercy Hospital Berryville Auxiliary held its election and installation of officers on Oct. 7 at the City Pool Park Pavilion Outgoing Northwest District chair Carol Evans installed Emma Jean Vance as president, Patricia Armer as vice president and Joy McKinney as secretary.

By vote of the auxiliary membership, Betty McClellan was named the Auxilian of the Year for her outstanding willingness to volunteer at the hospital Visitor Information Desk and in the Gift Shop before the COVID-19 shutdown. She was accompanied by her son, John McClellan. Betty was also the winner of the door prize provided by the president.

Light refreshments were served and all attending members wore masks and maintained social distance.

The auxiliary members are looking forward to again being able to volunteer at the hospital and at the thrift store in Green Forest.
