Jimmie Carroll Gage was born September 12, 1944 in Berryville, Arkansas to Paul and Juanita Gage. He moved to his new heavenly home on October 31, 2020 at the age of 76.
Jimmie married his best friend, Ida Rea Wilson, who survives him. The enjoyed all their married years in Carroll County, Arkansas.
Jimmie leaves behind his wife Ida, Aunt Oleta June Raz of Harper, Texas, several family members, in-laws, lots of nephews and nieces who he loved to pester, his church family, along with a large number of friends and neighbors who will greatly miss his presence.
He was a member of the Metalton United Baptist Church. Jim served his country in the U.S. Army and served in the Vietnam War.
He is preceded in death by his father and mother, Paul and Juanita (Stacey)Gage, his stepmother Elena Gage, step-dad Thomas Gage. One sister, Nita Mae (Gage) Bellflower; grandparents Hugh and Annie Gage, John and Lena Stacey; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Frank and Lily Wilson.
A Memorial Service will be 2:00 p.m., Sunday, November 8, 2020 at the Gobble Cemetery with Brother Ed Ledbetter officiating. The family asks that attendees follow social distancing and masks mandates. Memorial donations to Gobbler Cemetery, 914 County Road 501, Berryville, AR 72616.
