Girl dies in 3-vehicle accident on Highway 412

A minor female was killed and three people were injured in a three-vehicle accident Friday night, Aug. 21, at the intersection of U.S. Highway 412 and Carroll County Road 949 in the Dry Fork township.

According to a preliminary report by the Arkansas State Police, Glenn E. Chamberlain, 23, of Siloam Springs was driving a 2014 Honda Accord westbound on Highway 412 at 8:55 p.m. when he crossed the center line while negotiating a curve. The Accord sideswiped an eastbound a 2016 Nissan Sentra, whose driver is not identified in the report, then collided head-on with a 2012 Ford Transit driven by Jacob Boardman, 25, of Green Forest.

A minor female passenger in Chamberlain’s vehicle was killed. She is not identified in the state police report.

Chamberlain was injured along with Cassie Riddick, 31, of Siloam Springs and another minor female. Boardman also was injured. No details on their conditions were available.
