Eureka Springs announces dates for spring cleanup

The City of Eureka Springs, will hold its Spring Cleanup from Monday, April 13, through Friday, April 17.

Collection tags are required and will be available to purchase at City Hall from March 23 through April 9. There is a $5 administrative fee per residence.

Non-hazardous bulky items, such as old furniture and appliances must be placed curbside by 8 a.m. Monday, April 13. All smaller items must be in manageable bundles of less than 50 pounds.

The city will not pick up any hazardous waste, batteries, electronics, tires, household garbage or yard waste. Anything with coolants/freon needs to display a separate tag showing that the coolant/freon has been removed to be eligible for pick up.

Electronics can be dropped off directly at Carroll County Solid Waste Authority for no extra charge.

This service is for private residences only. No items will be picked up after 3 p.m. Friday, April 17.
