Jack Karrell Hoover, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, was born January 27, 1958 to Henry Foster (Jack) and Ethel Lillian (Clark) Hoover of Eureka Springs, Arkansas. Jack passed away on February 29, 2020 at the age of 62.
Jack was the original operator of the Berryville Pawn Shop, and also one of the Jacks who opened Two Jacks Pawn Shop. He was a lover and collector of firearms and was a Benefactor Life Member of the National Rifle Association. He also served two terms on the Carroll County Quorum Court as District 9 Justice of the Peace.
On May 11, 2010, Jack was united in marriage to Marsha Lynn Dance, who survives him. He is also survived by son Toby Perry, of Kingston, daughter Misty Briley of Berryville, and daughter Amanda Hoover of Berryville. He is also survived by six grandchildren-Ashley Burdge, Jordan Gurnwald, Matthew Perry, Jessica Perry, Brandon Burdge, and Ryan Grunwald; one great-grandson, Tucker Foulk, and one great-granddaughter, Ophelia Perry; brother Darrell Hoover of Eureka Springs.
Jack is preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Ethel Hoover; maternal grandparents Benjamin and Nancy Clark; paternal grandparents Warren and Virginia Hoover.
Jacks Celebration of Life will be held, 2:00 pm, March 8, 2020, at the Freedom Seekers Ministry in Berryville, Arkansas. We all ask for you to come by and help us celebrate and share stories and remember the good times we all have had with him.
