Bolding shoots his way into record book
Alpena’s Brock Bolding sure knows how to make a comeback.
The Leopards senior, who had missed most of the season recovering from a knee injury, returned to action with a flurry on Monday, tossing in seven three-pointers in the fourth quarter of an 86-29 victory over visiting Mount Judea.
Derek Walter, assistant executive director of the Arkansas Activities Association, said Thursday that AAA records indicate the most previous three-pointers in a quarter for an Arkansas high school player was six.
Bolding finished with 21 points for Alpena (9-15, 5-6 1A-1). Nicholas Stone added 14 and Trevor Woodworth had 13.
