*William “Mr.Bill” Edwin Stanton, Sept. 15, 1940 to Oct. 10, 2019*

William “Mr.Bill” Edwin Stanton, age 79, died October 10th, 2019, in

Eureka Springs, Arkansas. Bill has been residing in the Eureka Springs area

since October 1st, 2014.

Bill is survived by his daughter, Inka Stanton of Carrollton, Texas; his

wife, Susan, Waco, Texas; sisters Donna Andresen, Kalamazoo, Michigan;

Margo Elliott, Eureka Springs, Arkansas. He is preceded in death by his

parents, William Jean and Helen Stanton; brother, Blaine Stanton.

Bill was born September 15th, 1940 in Savannah, Missouri. He graduated from

Savannah High School in 1958. He joined the Army, stationed in Germany in

the 4th Missile Bn. 28th Arty, Lacrosse from 1959-1963. He married Heidrun

and the couple had their daughter Inka. Bill worked for Trunkline as an

electrical engineer in microwave communications.

Bill was very involved in Lion’s Club. He also enjoyed fishing and

computers. His family and friends will always remember him as a very sweet

and funny man.

A memorial in Eureka Springs will be announced at a later date. Donations
