Scouting for Food collections begin
For the past 30 years the local Boy Scouts, and Cub Scouts along with assistance from other caring people have worked together to help feed the needy in the Eureka Springs community, and this year is no different Starting on Saturday, Nov. 2, and during the following week, area scouts will be placing bags on doorknobs for donations. The scouts will be collecting these bags on Saturday, Nov. 9. Please have your bags with your donation on your front porch by 9 a.m that day, and the scouts will take your contributions to the Flint Street Fellowship food bank.
Donations can include but are not limited to non-perishable food items and hygiene items like toothpaste, deodorant, toilet paper, detergent, paper towels, toothbrushes, bar soap and shampoo. Donations for animals are also welcome as well as cash donations.
