Loyd Winston Conner, of Alpena, Arkansas, was born February 10, 1932, in Alpena, to Wilburn and Bernice (Coxsey) Conner. He passed away September 29, 2019 in Alpena, Arkansas at the age of 87.
He enjoyed being outdoors hunting and fishing. Loyd also enjoyed lapidary work, and truly enjoyed playing cards, and was a vicious competitor. He was a boy scout leader and mentored many young people. Loyd influenced all who had the opportunity to meet him, he also valued, honesty, integrity, loyalty, and honor. He served honorably in the United States Air Force from 1952 to 1956, in the Strategic Air Command.
On April 14, 1956 Loyd was united in marriage to Beth Inez (Albrecht) Conner who survives him. He is also survived by his children Dale Conner, Mark Conner, Derinda Lyons; grandchildren Rainbows, Zeus, Precious, Dazzle, Heaven, Sky, Chandler, Dakota, Kerry, Melody, Taylor; great grand children Cheyenne, Tristan, Jaxon, Zaya.
Loyd is preceded in death by his parents.
