Danny Brent High of Berryville, Arkansas, was born July 1, 1954, in Berryville, Arkansas a son of Milton Roy and Linnie Bell (Smith) High. Danny passed away August 23, 2019 in Berryville, Arkansas, at the age of 65 years.

He was a volunteer for the Berryville Fire Department since February of 1973 and was the Assistant Fire Chief. He was also a member of the Carroll County S.O.R.T. team. He laid tile and carpet for many years, and he never met a stranger. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and being outdoors.

On October 4, 1986, Danny married his childhood sweetheart, Colleen Coffee. Together they enjoyed their life on the farm, traveling, and their morning coffee breaks. Danny was an outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting (especially in the Colorado Rockies), being outside rather inside, and working on the farm.

Danny is survived by his wife Colleen High; two daughters Tanya Jasso (husband Carlos) and Amber Giles; two sons, Tony High (wife Sonya) and Will Giles; five grandchildren, Michael High, Angel High, River Beazley, Emma Beazley, and Sean Jasso; four sisters, June Smith, Peggy Wolfinbarger, Marlene Webb, and Carolyn Sue Fultz; six brothers, Kenneth High, Marvon High, Larry High, Gary High, Arlis High, and Lester High; along with many loving family and friends.

Danny is preceded in death by his parents, Milton Roy and Linnie Bell High, and three sisters Bernice Dignan, Maxine Smith, and Daisy Swofford.

Visitation will be Tuesday, August 27, 2019, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Charles M Nelson Memorial Chapel in Berryville. Funeral Service will be 10:00 am August 28, 2019, at Charles M. Nelson Memorial Chapel with Bro. Chad Wilson, Rev. Lonny Burks, and Bob Moore officiating. Interment will follow at High Cemetery in Berryville. Arrangements are under the direction of Nelson Funeral Service.
