Eureka Springs Community Center offers work study program
Volunteers at Eureka Springs Community Center already benefit from meeting people and getting involved with their community. Now, thanks to a new work study program, volunteers can get even more enjoyment and benefit for time spent contributing to ESCC.
The work study program provides volunteers for specific job assignments with tuition credits which may be applied toward membership fees, event room rentals, workshops or ongoing classes.
"We really appreciate our volunteers," said activities director Cat Luna, "and this is a great way to show how much we value the time they spend giving to the community and the center."
There are several roles volunteers can play based upon their interest. Anyone can help but only qualified volunteer applicants may participate in the jobs specified in the work study program.
