Clark earns prestigious national award

The U.S. Geospatial Intelligence Foundation honored Dr. Jeffrey D. Clark, whose work supports the Air Force in collaboration with the National Geospatial Intelligence Agency, with its annual industry award during a symposium in San Antonio in June.

Clark is the son of Ken and Peg Clark of Cabot and the grandson of the late Kenneth and Melva Clark and Herbert and Anna Pharis of Carroll County. He received a bachelor's of science degree in electrical engineering from the University of Arkansas in 1994 and went on to complete both a master's in electrical engineering from the Air Fore Institute of Technology in 2006 and a Ph.D. in 2011.

Clark is now director of artificial intelligence at Riverside Research in Beavercreek, Ohio.
