Berryville Library plans public input sessions
The Berryville Public Library will hold two informal feedback sessions to allow community members to provide input on a new library.
The library has been located in the same space for more than 30 years. The Berryville City Council recently agreed to donate a vacant lot across from the city pool as a site for a new library.
In May 2019, the library announced its intentions to begin fundraising for a new building.
“Feedback from the community on what they would like to see in a new library is imperative,” library director Julie Hall said.
Two informal feedback sessions are scheduled. The first will be held from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, June 27, and the second is scheduled for 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday July 16. Both will be held at the library, located at 104 Spring St. in Berryville.
