BETTY LOU PENNINGTON, of Berryville, Arkansas, was born March 9, 1935, in Berryville, Arkansas, daughter of Wilburn and Oma (Jennings) Snow. She departed this life May 27, 2019, in Mansfield, at the age of 84 years.
Betty was an extraordinary woman who loved the Lord and loved people. Nana was the most caring and loving person, who enjoyed cooking, crafts and spending time with family. She was a true friend to many people and an angel in our family.
She is survived by her granddaughter, Shelley Lenamond; two grandsons, Brad Guzman and Dustin Canada; six great-grandchildren, Ethan Lenamond, Luke Lenamond, Will Lenamond, Anthony Guzman, Gabriel Guzman and Lilianna Guzman; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Pennington; daughter, Karen Canada; parents, Wilburn and Oma Snow; Sister, Ina Jo Lindsay; and brother, Rex Snow.
Visitation will be Saturday, June 1, 2019, from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. at Southern Heights Baptist Church in Berryville, Arkansas. Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, June 1, 2019, at Southern Heights Baptist Church with Pastor Keith Moore officiating.
