GF's Hilton wins two races at Harrison

Green Forest senior Lexington Hilton had another dominating performance on Thursday, April 11, in the Rosson Invitational track and field meet in Harrison.
Hilton won both the 800-meter and 1,600-meter runs as the Tigers finished seventh in the boys team standings.
On the girls side, Hilton’s classmate Karina Maravillas also had an outstanding day.
Maravillas won the 800-meter run and finished second at 1,600 meters as the Lady Tigers finished third in the girls team standings.
Berryville junior Cecilia Doss won the girls triple jump and finished second in the 400-meter dash.
Green Forest junior Jennifer Martinez finished third at 3,200 meters and fourth at 1,600 meters. Senior Lexey Williams was second in the pole vault, and the Lady Tigers finished second in the 4X800-meter relay and third in the 4X400. Senior Kassidy Bell finished was fourth in the 300-meter hurdles and the triple jump.
Berryville’s Kourtney Granger was fourth in the girls pole vault.
On the boys’ side, Berryville’s Dominic Henry was fourth in the triple jump while Green Forest’s Tono Mendez was fourth in the pole vault.
Berryville’s girls finished seventh, while the Berryville boys were ninth.
