LOLA KAY WOLFINBARGER, of Berryville, Arkansas, was born November 16, 1922, in the Rockhouse Community in Arkansas to Fred and Pearl (Hudspeth) Southerland. She departed this life April 22, 2019, in Berryville at the age of 96 years.
Lola was faithful to her church. She was an outside person and loved her flower gardens. She was a loving caretaker of many kids.
She is survived by six sons, Jack and Carolyn Wolfinbarger of Garfield, Arkansas, Joe and Becky Wolfinbarger of Monks Corner, South Carolina, Phillip Wolfinbarger of Joliet, Illinois, George Earl and Becky Wolfinbarger of Kankakee, Illinois, Jimmy and Kathy Wolfinbarger of Berryville, and Arlie Fred Wolfinbarger of Paris, California; “adopted step-son,” Mike Pitts and wife, Diane, of Berryville; fourteen grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
On March 13, 1941, she was united in marriage with Tillman Russell Wolfinbarger who preceded her in death. She is also preceded in death by her parents; one daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Harry Stout; brother, Earl Southerland; brother and sister-in-law, George and Dell Southerland.
Visitation will be Thursday, April 25, 2019, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Charles M. Nelson Memorial Chapel in Berryville. Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, April 26, 2019, at the Charles M. Nelson Memorial Chapel with Pastor Keith Moore officiating. Interment will follow the service in the Berryville Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Nelson Funeral Service.
