Clyde Ermert, 56, of Eureka Springs passed away February 23, 2019, at Circle of Life Hospice Home at Legacy Village in Bentonville.
Born May 10, 1962, in Paragould, Mr. Ermert was a loving husband, father, son and brother. He worked at Ducommun Incorporated in Berryville as a mold technician and tool and die maker. During his free time, he enjoyed spending time with his family, being outdoors, gardening, fishing, woodworking, Boy Scouting, planting flowers, especially ferns and being on the pontoon on the lake. He received his degree in machine shop form Black River Vo-Tech School.
On June 27, 1985, he married the love of his life, Patty Long. She survives him. Other survivors include his children, Leah Ann Ermert of Eureka Springs and Justin Carl Ermert of Harrison; mother, Alice Jean Ermert of Paragould; brother, Rick (Rhonda) Ermert of Corning; sisters, Barbara Patterson of Booneville, MO and Fran (Rodney) Holder of Bellevue, NB; grandsons, Jadon and Caleb Neal; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Richard O. Ermert.
A memorial service will be held at First United Methodist Church in Eureka Springs at 2:00 p.m. on March 2. Cremains will be buried at Snow Cemetery.
