Chase leads to arrest of Springfield man

A Springfield, Mo., man was arrested last week after a pursuit that started on County Road 811 (Denver Road) and ended after the man’s truck apparently broke down and he pulled into a driveway on Highway 103 north of Green Forest.
The pursuit was initiated by the Arkansas State Police. Deputy Aaron Ingle of the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office assisted by calling the trooper by calling the pursuit and assisting in the handcuffing of the suspect.
Louis Tony Briley, 48, was booked into the Carroll County Detention Center on Tuesday, Feb. 26, on charges of driving on a revoked license, reckless driving, aggravated assault, obstructing governmental operations, fleeing with vehicle, fleeing on foot and on hold for Missouri Probation and Parole.
As of Monday afternoon, Briley was still being held in the county jail.
