BONNIE JEAN ASBURY, of Green Forest, Arkansas, was born December 14, 1933, in Denver, Arkansas, to Willie Waymon and Tulia Jane (Underwood) Terherst. She passed away Saturday, February 23, 2019, in Berryville, Arkansas, at the age of 85.
Bonnie loved the Lord with all her heart and ministered to others by cooking and delivering food to people in need. She was a member of Calvary Apostolic Church in Blue Eye.
On July 8, 1954, she was united in marriage with Reverend Kenneth Ray Asbury who survives her. She is also survived by her daughter Debra Blevins and husband, Scott, of Denver; five grandchildren, Sherry Presley and husband, Will, of Harrison; Stephen Blevins of Denver; Mandy Blair and husband, Lee, of Russellville; Melissa Feemster and husband, Stephen of Russellville; Susan Blevins of Prairie Grove; nine great-grandchildren, Brayden Presley, Bryce Presley, Paige Blair, Trystan Blair, Avery Feemster, Kaden Feemster, Aspen Feemster, Rylee Lane and Sydney Lane; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, Glenford, Carl, Wayburn and Norman Terherst; one sister, Bamie Jones; two infant siblings.
Visitation will be Wednesday, February 27, 2019, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Nelsonís Green Forest Chapel in Green Forest. Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, February 28, 2019, at Nelsonís Green Forest Chapel with Pastor Doug Grinder officiating. Interment will follow the service in the Farewell Cemetery under the direction of Nelson Funeral Service.
