Spring Clean-Up scheduled

Friday, February 22, 2019

The city of Berryville will be holding its annual Spring Clean-Up event this April. Items must be at the curb by 7 a.m. on the first morning to guarantee pickup. City staff will not go down the same street twice.

Only four non-hazardous, large, bulky items will be picked up. Only two of those can be appliances. All refrigeration units must have freon removed and be legally tagged as “removed/recovered.” If it fits in a 35-gallon trash bag, it will not be picked up. This clean-up is for old furniture, mattresses and appliances. No tires, batteries, scrap metal, electronics or trash will be picked up.

Bulky items will be picked up Monday, April 15, and Tuesday, April 16, for residents who live east of Springfield Street.

They will be picked up Thursday, April 18, and Friday, April 19, for those who live west of Springfield Street.

Bundled limbs and bagged leaves will be picked up on Monday, April 22, and Tuesday, April 23. Limbs must be tied in manageable bundles, and leaves must be bagged and placed curbside. Please have them at the curb by 7 a.m. Monday, April 22.

This service is for private residents only. There will be no commercial pick-up.
