EVVA L. BELL, of Green Forest, Arkansas was born on May 27, 1920, the daughter of Anderson Pinkney, known by all as A.P., and Betty (Anderson) Darby. She departed this life on Saturday, January 26, 2019 in Berryville, Arkansas at 98 years of age.
Evva enjoyed playing the piano at church and was the pianist for The Bell Family Quartet. She worked for many years at Glick Manufacturing and was a cook at Alpena School. She spent the rest of her working career as a sales representative for Stanley Home Products.
She is survived by two sons, Floy Bell and wife, Deanne of Green Forest and James Bell of Green Forest; daughter-in-law, Brenda (Richardson) Bell of Green Forest; four grandchildren, Dana (Bell) McCutcheon of Tontitown, Arkansas, Robert Bell and wife, Kendra of Green Forest, Donna Draper and husband, Mark of Fayetteville, David Bell and wife, Joan of Harrison; nine great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
On August 5, 1942, she was united in marriage with Garland Bell who preceded her in death. She is also preceded in death by her parents, A.P. and Betty Darby; four brothers, Oscar, Herman, Cazie and Richard; and three sisters, Alma, Clara and Delphia.
Visitation was Wednesday, January 30, 2019, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Nelsonís Green Forest Chapel in Green Forest, Arkansas. Funeral service was 10:00 a.m., Thursday, January 31, 2019 at Nelsonís Green Forest Chapel with Brother Billy Williams officiating.
