(From left) Paraprofessional Niki Hatfield, third-graders Julia Miller, Taylor Gray and Bella Sayer and paraprofessional Sarah McCullough hang notes of encouragement on the Tree of Life at Berryville Intermediate School. Hatfield said the tree was put up to recognize women affected by breast cancer to let them know the community is behind them. She said Meek’s Lumber and Powell Home and Ranch donated spray paint to help make the tree pink. Hatfield said the community is invited to write notes of encouragement and place them on the tree.
