2 GF men among 3 found dead in vehicle
Two Green Forest men were among three people who were found dead Saturday in a vehicle in southwest Missouri. Authorities believe all three died from drug overdoses.
A news release from the Stone County Sheriff’s Office says deputies were dispatched to a location in the southern portion of the county after a report of a deceased male in a car.
At approximately 11 a.m., the release says, deputies located the vehicle parked outside an abandoned trailer. They discovered three bodies in the vehicle.
The individuals were identified as Joseph Johnson, 35, and Daniel Calvert, 32, both of Green Forest; and Julie Orman, 26, of Shell Knob, Mo.
“It appears from items located in the vehicle that all three of them died from a drug overdose,” the news release says. “No foul play is suspected.”
