Capitola Irene (Edmondson) Pyatt of Eureka Springs, born February 16, 1920, in Grandview to Charlie “Stout” and Clara Edmondson passed away Saturday, November 3, 2018 in Eureka Springs. She was a homemaker and was retired from Ocoma Foods in Berryville. She was a member of the Rock Springs Baptist Church.
On April 29, 1939, she was united in marriage with Jim Pyatt who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Charlie “Stout” and Clara Edmondson; eight brothers, Dick, Delmer, Jack, Thomas, Short, Bill, Wendall and Paul Edmondson; and six sisters, Leva Summers, Johnny Jones, Lola Piermont, Ica Dola Edmondson, Zeva White and Susie Edmondson.
Graveside services will be held at Eureka Springs Cemetery, Tuesday, November 6, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. under the direction of Nelson Funeral Service, with Pastor Ryan Rose and Pastor Paul Glidewell officiating.
Survivors include one son, Kenneth Pyatt and wife Jody of Eureka Springs, two daughters, Norma Butler and husband George of Eureka Springs and Freida Scarrow and husband Bobby of Booneville, Arkansas. Four grandchildren, Jim Butler of Eureka Springs, Donna Glidewell of Booneville, Kendall Pyatt of Carrollton and Terri Young of Eureka Springs. Thirteen great grandchildren, nineteen great, great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
