Green Forest extended its shutout streak to four games in junior high action last Thursday, defeating Gravette 32-0.

The Tigers haven’t allowed a point in conference play and have posted five shutouts altogether.

Bryan Soto scored two touchdowns in the victory over Gravette. Jake Lopez, Barrett Phillips and Ashton Grunwald also scored for Green Forest.

Coach Ryan Whetham said the Tigers take pride in their defense.

“They love to play defense,” Whetham said. “They like to tackle, they like to hit and they like to fly around. They would rather practice on defense than offense.”

Green Forest will play Shiloh Christian on Thursday in Springdale.
