JOHN EDWARD ďEDĒ ROBINSON, of Eureka Springs, Arkansas, was born August 6, 1934 in Eureka Springs to Frank and Fannie (Gunnals) Robinson. He passed away peacefully on September 1, 2018 at the age of 84.
Ed loved heavy equipment and running a bulldozer. He was a member of the NRA and an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing.
On December 12, 1992, he was united in marriage with Judie Marie Burchfield who survives him of the home. He is also survived by three sons, Randy and Roger Robinson of Winfield, Kansas; Ricky Taylor and wife Cristina of Kabul, Afghanistan; one daughter, Rhonda Szcepanski and husband, Richard of Madison, Alabama; one sister, Jimmie Lou Robinson of Berryville; three brothers, Gene Robinson and wife Marjory of Gateway, Arkansas; Lee Robinson and wife, Helen of Berryville; Jackie Robinson and wife, Linda of Berryville; eight grandchildren, Jerry and Eddie Robinson, Charlie and Lauren Taylor, Landon and Logan Black, Hannah and Madeline Szcepanski; many other relatives, loved ones and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Fannie Robinson; one son, Wendell Robinson; two sisters, Violet Catron and Loraine Davidson; and two brothers, Bill and Joe Robinson.
Visitation will be Wednesday, September 5, 2018, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Nelsonís Chapel of the Springs in Eureka Springs. Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, September 6, 2018, at Nelsonís Chapel of the Springs with Pastor Craig Villines officiating.
