GILBERT TONY POOR, of Green Forest, Arkansas was born February 27, 1961 in Branson, Missouri to Dillard and Patsy Ann (Powell) Poor. He departed this life Tuesday, August 28, 2018, in Fayetteville, Arkansas at the age of 57.

Tony was an avid coon hunter and was the president of the Marble Hunting Club. He was a Christian and loved his family and friends more than anything. He cherished the times spent with all of them. Tony will truly be missed by those who knew him.

He is survived by his son, Kyle Poor and wife, Kailyne of Green Forest; daughter, Casey Wade and husband, Adam of Green Forest; two brothers, Kelly Poor and Sammy Poor of Green Forest; three grandchildren, Alivia, Catey and Burley Wade; several nieces and nephews, other relatives, friends and loved ones.

On February 14, 1987, he was united in marriage with Janet Lee (Matthews) Poor who preceded him in death. He is also preceded in death by his parents, Dillard and Patsy Poor; and one sister, Barbara Poor.

Visitation will be Thursday, August 30, 2018, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at the Charles M. Nelson Memorial Chapel in Berryville. Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, August 31, 2018, at the Charles M. Nelson Memorial Chapel with Pastor Roscoe Wade officiating. Interment will follow at the Grandview Cemetery under the direction of Nelson Funeral Service.
