COY RAY BOOTH SR., of Berryville, Arkansas was born on May 16, 1947 in Point Lookout, Missouri to Doy and Geneva (Box) Booth. He departed this life on Saturday, August 11, 2018 in Berryville, Arkansas at the age of 71 years.

Coy lived the first part of his life in Missouri then he moved to California, where he attended Waterford High. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his grandkids.

On February 3rd, 1979 he was united in marriage with Sammie (Sims) Booth who survives him of the home. He is also survived by his six children, Carole Reid of Keysville, Virginia; Jenny Reid of Cedarburg, Virginia; Krystal Gill and husband, Matt of Modesto, California; Kristy Booth and Phillip Tischman of Leesville, Louisiana; Coy Booth, Jr. and wife, Morgan of Berryville; Charlie Booth and wife, Jenna of Berryville; four siblings, John Booth of Berryville; Sam Booth and wife, Debbie of Camdenton, Missouri; Carolyn Gaffga of Berryville; David Booth of Berryville; thirteen grandchildren, Scott, Aimee, Eli, Danielle, Meagan, Caleb, Alexus, Michaela, Emily, Becca, Eli, Preston and Paisley; two great-grandchildren Valan and Lydia; mother of three of his grandchildren, Caley Blevins; and many other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Doy and Geneva (Box) Booth; and mother and father-in-law, Sam and Voda Sims.

Visitation was Tuesday, August 14, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Charles M. Nelson Memorial Chapel in Berryville. Funeral service was 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at the Charles M. Nelson Memorial Chapel. Interment followed at the Berryville Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Nelson Funeral Service. Memorial donations may be made to the Kings River Church Building Fund, P.O.
