Rowell joins Mercy Clinic as primary care doctor
Dr. Aaron Rowell has joined Mercy Clinic Family Medicine-Berryville as a primary care provider seeing patients of all ages.
Rowell completed his Doctor of Osteopathy at William Carey College in Hattiesburg, Miss. He recently completed a residency in family medicine at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences’ South Central Regional Program in Pine Bluff. During his residency, Dr. Rowell did more than 1,300 hours of work at emergency departments, primarily at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff.
Before his medical studies, Dr. Rowell earned a bachelor of science degree in biology at the University of Arkansas at Monticello.
“We are very excited to have Dr. Rowell seeing patients in our community,” said Cody Qualls, executive director of development at Mercy Berryville. “I have spent a lot of time with him, and he is going to be a wonderful fit and addition to our clinic. Most importantly, he has the education and training to provide quality care to our patients from across Carroll County.”
Mercy Clinic Family Medicine-Berryville serves residents with five physicians and two nurse practitioners. The clinic is open from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday. For an appointment, call 870-423-6661.
