Carroll County undergraduates earn high marks at UA
The University of Arkansas announced that 14 students from Carroll County earned a 3.75 or higher GPA during the last school semester.
According to the press release, students who receive a 4.0 GPA are added to the Chancellorís List, while students who achieve at least a 3.75 GPA are added to the Deanís List.
Eureka Springs had seven students earn academic honors, with two named to the Chancellorís List and five named to the Deanís List. Wade Carter, a senior food science major, and Gregory Watson, a senior supply chain management major, secured 4.0 GPAs, according to the release. It says Sierra Faulkenberry, a freshman nursing major; Amy Kappen, a senior art major; Heidi Kirk, a freshman journalism major; Joshua Moorhouse, a sophomore mechanical engineering major; and Delaney Pacitti, a biology major, received at least a 3.75 GPA.
The University of Arkansas recognized six Berryville undergraduates for their high academic performance. Five students were named to the Chancellorís List, and one student was named to the Deanís List. Aaron Flake, a senior kinesiology major; Robert Hudgens, a senior agricultural business major; Taylor Price, a senior electrical engineering major; Kylee Sigmon, a senior agricultural business major; and Brett Sooter, a senior kinesiology major all made 4.0 GPAs. Christina Hudspeth, a senior English major, received at least a 3.75 GPA.
Meleah Perez of Green Forest, a senior double major in English and Journalism, was named to the Deanís List.
