Wagon Train Ride scheduled to pass through county June 22-24

The Roundup Club Wagon Train Ride is scheduled to come through Carroll County from Friday, June 22, through Sunday, June 24.

The train ride will stop in Carrollton on Friday night. It will leave Carrollton on Saturday, June 23, and stay on backroads after getting off Highway 412. The train ride will go from County Road 920 to County Road 995 and stop for lunch at Fry Farms. It will then go from County Road 9951 to Highway 103 South. From there, the train ride will go to County Road 719 for its night stop.

On Sunday, June 24, the train ride will leave its night stop on County Road 719 to Highway 21 South. It will stop at County Road 516 for lunch and then head on to Madison County.

The Carroll County Emergency Response Team (CERT) will have a first aid station on a remote section of County Road 995 on Fry Farms. The CERT team will also assist with traffic control on 103 South. if needed. Lunch is being provided at Fry Farms for the CERT team, Wagon Train Out Riders, Carroll County Sheriff’s Office deputies assisting with the wagon train and guests watching the train arrive.
