WILLIAM “CARL” BARTLETT, of Green Forest, Arkansas was born April 8, 1944 in Osage, Arkansas, son of Joseph William and Ora Ellen (Villines) Bartlett. He departed this life Sunday, March 11, 2018 in Fayetteville, Arkansas at the age of 73 years.
Carl was a member of the Christ Tabernacle United Pentecostal Church in Blue Eye. He worked fifty-one years in pipeline construction for both oil and gas. He loved working with his cattle on his farm.
On October 13, 1962 he was united in marriage to Linda (Peden) Bartlett who survives him. He is also survived by his four daughters, Carla Estrada and husband, Jorge of Green Forest; Kelly Yohn and husband, George of Green Forest; Tonya Davis and husband, Randy of Overton, Texas; Brooksey Morris and husband, Cale of Alpena; two brothers, Doyle Bartlett of Green Forest and Coy Bartlett of Fayetteville; seven grandchildren, Chasity Hayhurst, Jasmine Griffis, Keeyah Yohn, Tyler Davis, Jordan Davis, Carson Estrada and Paisley Morris; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, loved ones and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.
Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at Nelson’s Green Forest Chapel, Green Forest, Arkansas. Funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, March 15, 2018 at the Truth Tabernacle Church in Green Forest, Arkansas with Reverends Aaron McGranahan, Tony Wilson and J.M. Ates officiating. Interment will follow the service in the Hale Cemetery in Oak Grove, Arkansas under the direction of Nelson Funeral Service.
