BV announces spring cleanup dates

Friday, March 9, 2018

The city of Berryville will be holding its annual Spring Clean-Up this April.

Only four hazardous large bulk items will be picked up from each household. Only two of those can be appliances. All refrigeration units must have Freon removed and be legally tagged as “removed/recovered.” If an item fits in a 35-gallon trash bag, it will not be picked up. This cleanup is for old furniture, mattresses and appliances.

No tires, batteries, scrap metal, electronics or trash will be picked up.

Bulky items will be picked up on Monday, April 16, and Tuesday, April 17, for residents who live east of Springfield Street. For example, if your normal trash day is on Thursday, then you need to set your large items at the curb by 7 a.m. on April 16.

Bulky items will be picked up on Thursday, April 19, and Friday, April 20, for those who live west of Springfield Street. For example, if your normal trash day is on Tuesday, then you need to set your large items at the curb by 7 a.m. on April 19.

Bundled limbs and bagged leaves will be picked up Monday, April 23, and Tuesday, April 24. Limbs must be tied in manageable bundles, and leaves must be bagged and placed by the curbside. Please have them at the curb by 7 a.m. on Monday, April 23.

This service is for private residents only. There will be no commercial pick-up.
