DONNA HOPPER, of Berryville, Arkansas, born October 28, 1939 in Chicago, Illinois, daughter of Verl Ham and Wilma Rosalee (Scott) Wilber. She departed this life Thursday, March 1, 2018 in Springfield, Missouri at the age of 78.
Donna was a member of the Living Faith Church and was a 4H Leader in the 1970’s. She loved crafting and enjoyed collecting items for her extensive fairy garden collection. She always put her family first because they were the most important part of her life.
On June 3, 1955, she was united in marriage to James Jasper Hopper, who survives her. She is also survived by her children, James V. Hopper and wife, Shana of Berryville; Don Hopper and Lisa Wilson of Berryville; Ronald C. Hopper and wife, Amy of Berryville; Darrell Hopper and wife, Vicky of Berryville; Diana Auman and husband, Roger of Alpena; two brothers, Norman “Put” Wilber and wife, Ellen of Mountain Home, Arkansas; Bruce Wilber and wife, Barb of Virginia; sister-in-law, Pat Wilber of Mountain Home, Arkansas; grandchildren, Brittany Dawn Youngblood of Berryville; James N. Hopper of New Mexico; Rebecca Anne Hopper of Berryville; Erica Lynn Hopper of Oklahoma; Megan Kelley of Berryville; Michael Hopper of Berryville; numerous great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Verl and Wilma Wilber and brother, Dale Wilber.
Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at the Charles M. Nelson Memorial Chapel, Berryville. Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at the Charles M. Nelson Memorial Chapel with Pastor Jon Cornell officiating. Interment will follow the service in the Berryville Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Nelson Funeral Service.
