Deborah (Debbie) L. Wall, age 62 of Green Forest, Ark. passed away Wednesday, Dec. 27, 2017. She was born April 10, 1955 in Harrison, Ark., daughter of Frank and Exie (Hittson) Morris.
Debbie grew up in the Concord area, graduated from Alpena High School and went on to earn her degree as a speech therapist. On Nov. 24, 1989 she married the love of her life, Zane Wall.
Debbie was employed at “Our Co-op,” Harrison Ark. and worked at Alpena Schools as a speech therapist for a number of years. She was a confidant, wise and loving therapist whose influence is far reaching. She enjoyed traveling, the beach and collecting, especially dolls for her collection.
Debbie was an active member of Green Forest United Baptist Church. She loved to sing and had served as the church song leader for as long as she was able. She was a wonderful wife, sister and friend. Her gentle spirit and beautiful smile was generously shared with all around her.
Debbie is survived by her husband, Zane Wall of the home; sisters, Ruth Fultz and husband Clifford of Rule, Shirley Morris of Alpena; brothers, Lewis Morris of Alpena, Billy Morris of Alpena and a number of nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.
Besides her parents she is preceded in death by one brother, Larkin Morris; sisters-in-law, Jonnie Morris, Phyllis Morris, Judith Morris; and brother-in-law, Carl Massengale.
Celebration of Life will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 30, 2017, Smith Family Funeral Home in Green Forest with Pastor Jerry Spurlock officiating. Interment will follow at Carrollton Cemetery. Visitation is from 5-7 p.m., Friday at Smith Family Funeral Home in Green Forest.
