Tennant is appointed as president at Cornerstone
Jason Tennant has been appointed president of Cornerstone Bank, chief executive officer Charles T. Cross announced in a press release.
Tennant becomes the seventh president in the 105-year history of the locally owned bank. He previously served as executive vice president and has been with Cornerstone since 2012. In addition to his role as president,Tennant also serves on the bank’s board of directors. He is in charge of the management of the bank’s executive management team and day-to-day operations in all markets.
Tennant has 33 years of banking experience, having served in management roles at various institutions. He earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Arkansas Tech University in 1985 and is a graduate of the Southern Graduate School of Banking at Southern Methodist University. In addition, he serves on numerous boards and committees throughout Carroll County including Mercy Hospital, Area Agency on Aging, Carroll County Airport Commission, Loaves and Fishes and Carroll County Collaboration. Tennant also serves on the board of directors of the Arkansas Bankers Association.

Cornerstone Bank has a total of six locations in five Northwest Arkansas markets and is one of the fastest growing banks in the state of Arkansas, according to the press release.
