Linda Wyatt, age 67, of Green Forest, surrounded by her family, went to be with the Lord on December 1, 2017. She was born August 15, 1950 in Prairie City, Iowa to Robert and Mary Lou (Parks) Morrison.
Linda graduated from Kingston High School in 1968 and on June 7, 1969 she married the love of her life, Floyd Wyatt. Shortly afterward they moved to the Wyatt family farm, outside of Green Forest, where she resided until her death. Linda had accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior as a child and her faith, church and family was the center of her life. She was actively involved and a member of Trinity Free Will Baptist Church in Green Forest for a number of years. Linda was employed with the Green Forest School System, in the Cafeteria, for 33 years until her retirement in 2016. She loved the kids and was known at school for her big warm, loving smile everyone received. She and Floyd spent 48 years in marriage working, playing, traveling and raising their family. Linda found joy in being a wife, mom, grandmother and doing whatever she could to help others.
She is survived by her husband Floyd Wyatt of the home, daughter, Carrie McElroy (Clay) of Kiowa, CO, son, Danial Wyatt (Jeana) of Green Forest, grandchildren, Austin, Beth Ann and Scott McElroy, Miriam, Greg, Landis and Ella Wyatt, sister, Betty Cain (Sonny) of Berryville, Shirley Allred (Billy) of Marble, AR, Julia Stapleton Dave of Fayetteville, brother, Danial Morrison (Karen) of Farmington, AR.
She is preceded in death by her parents and brother, John Robert Morrison and father and mother-in-law, Raymond and Flawnie Wyatt.
Celebration Of Life Memorial Service will be 10:00 AM Saturday, December 16, 2017 at Trinity Free Will Baptist Church in Green Forest with Pastor Bill Wyatt officiating.
