JOHN WHITE, of Berryville, Arkansas born February 13, 1943 in Somerset, Kentucky, son of Herman and Aggie Ethel (Warren) White. He passed away December 3, 2017 at the age of 74 years.
John, known as “Fuzzy” to his family and friends was a well-known local figure who could always be seen walking around town with his dog, “Grizz”. He loved to fish, raise squirrels and take trips to the casinos. Fuzzy had a heart of gold and was always willing to assist others in need. Our community will always remember his contagious smile and giving heart.
He is survived by sister, Bessie Platen of Norwood, Ohio; brother, Ernest White of Cullman, Alabama; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends and loved ones.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Herman Sr. and Aggie White; three brothers, Herman White, Jr., Homer White, Abe White; four sisters, Helen White, Lois Mobley, Genni Brannon, Shirley Payne.
Visitation will be 5:00-7:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at the Charles M. Nelson Memorial Chapel in Berryville. Funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, December 7, 2017 at the Charles M. Nelson Memorial Chapel with Pastor Mark Pepple officiating. Interment will follow the service at the Berryville Memorial Park Cemetery, Berryville under the direction of Nelson Funeral Service.
