ROSA LEE PHILLIPS, of Berryville, Arkansas born January 20, 1926 in Ribbon Ridge, Arkansas, daughter of Tom and Mertie (Cline) Tucker. She went to be with her Heavenly Father, Monday, September 25, 2017, in Berryville, Arkansas at the age of 91 years.

Rosa was a member of the Freeman Heights Baptist Church. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, crocheting and gardening. She was an outstanding cook and you never left her house hungry. Her greatest joy was her family.

She is survived by her grandson, Max Phillips of Berryville; daughter-in-law, Kay Phillips Brown and husband, John, of Berryville; nine nieces, Oneida Gibbs Miller, Nellene Phillips Graham, Sara Phillips Owens, Jo Fowler, Charlotte Tucker Ward, Wanda Tucker, Lila Phillips, Joy Sue Dotson Simkins and Wanda Phillips; two nephews, Boyd Phillips, Jr. and Roy Lee Strode; several great-nieces and nephews and many close friends.

On March 1948, she was united in marriage to Lloyd Phillips, who preceded her in death. She is also preceded in death by her parents, Tom and Mertie Tucker; son, Bob J. Phillips; two brothers, Elige and Bill Tucker; three sisters, Sara Tucker Gibbs, Allie Tucker Phillips and Ida Tucker Phillips; three sisters-in-law, Betty Tucker, Verda Dotson and Chloe Phillips; five brothers-in-law, Jess Gibbs, Bird Phillips, Mel Phillips, Boyd Phillips and Vernon Dotson.

Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Friday, September 29, 2017 at the Charles M. Nelson Memorial Chapel, Berryville. Funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, September 30, 2017 at the Charles M. Nelson Memorial Chapel with Reverends Alan Brown and Jerry Spurlock officiating. Interment will follow the service in the Upper Campground Cemetery, Kingston, Arkansas under the direction of Nelson Funeral Service.
