Lady Bobcats take care of West Fork
The Berryville volleyball team got off to a great start in a 25-3, 25-16, 25-14 victory at West Fork on Monday evening.
"For some reason they just couldn't return a ball back over the net," Berryville coach Kristin Whetham said. "They couldn't receive the ball so we had a lot of girls scoring points just off serving, especially in that first set."
Whetham was pleased with the Lady Bobcats for their ability to continue to play hard after their 22-point victory in the first set.
"We are improving," Whetham said. "It is good to see us moving in that direction."
Berryville hosted Huntsville on Thursday. Whetham said her team would have to play well in order to win against its district opponent.
"A win is always big, but Huntsville, we played them this summer a little bit," Whetham said. "We played them at summer camp and we beat them, but Huntsville played West Fork and beat West Fork. Huntsville played Pea Ridge and beat Pea Ridge so I'm not really sure what I'm up against right now."
Kamryn Smith served the ball well and Lexy Anderson hit the ball well in the win against West Fork.
