CC golfers compete at country club

All area golf teams were represented at the Carroll County Country Club on Monday. Berryville won the boys tournament, shooting a 273. Ty Allen shot a 76, while Abdiel Marts shot a 94 and Rusty Colbert shot a 103. Jace Walker shot a 129. Gentry finished second, shooting a 329 and Eureka Springs finished third, shooting a 349. Levi Crider shot a 105, while Camden Boardman shot a 107 and Dominic Baracosa shot a 137. Green Forest's Clayton Smith shot a 114 and Ian Nelson shot a 117.

Gravette won the girls tournament, shooting a 295. Berryville's McKayla Hussey shot a 77 and Anna Caroline Stone shot a 95. Green Forest's Ashley Farrar shot a 98, as did Ereka Springs' Katelyn Ross.

On Tuesday, Berryville and Green Forest traveled to play The Creeks in Cave Springs. Shiloh Christian won the boys tournament bye shooting a 119 and Prairie Grove finished second, shooting a 138. Berryville and Huntsville finished in a tie for third, shooting a 150. Berryville's Ty Allen shot a 40, while Abdiel Marts shot a 53 and Rusty Colbert shot a 57. Brandon Robinson shot a 59 and Jace Walker shot a 67. Green Forest's Clayton Smith shot a 57 and Ian Nelson shot a 60. Huntsville won the girls tournament, shooting a 145 and Shiloh Christian finished second, shooting a 175. Berryville's McKayla Hussey shot a 39 and Anna Caroline Stone shot a 48. Green Forest's Ashley Farrar shot a 49.

On Tuesday, Berryville and Green Forest will play the Oakridge Golf Course in Huntsville.
