Randy L. Nichols of Green Forest, Ark., son of Nathan and Katie (Rhoades) Nichols, was born Nov. 28, 1972 in Harrison, Ark. and departed this life on Aug. 8, 2017 at the age of 44.
Randy worked as a landscaper in Carroll County.
He had a great passion for the outdoors with hunting, fishing, camping and swimming just to name a few. He was always willing to help anyone in need.
Randy was a special soul who always had a smile and a laugh that would fill a room, with an endearing love for his family.
Randy was preceded in death by his father, Nathan Nichols, a decorated war veteran and brother-in-law, Rick Phalem.
Survivors include his mother, Katie (Rhoades) Nichols of Kimberling City, Mo.; sister, Cindy Phalem of Kimberling City, Mo.; niece, Hannah Phalem of Kimberling City, Mo.; his aunts and uncles, including Pauletta Norman of Green Forest, Ark., Tina and Steve Allen of Oak Grove, Ark. Vickie and Eugene Parras of Dallas, Tex., Neal Nichols of Alpena, Ark., Nancy Rhoades of Kimberling City, Mo. and Dorcus Rhoades of Kimberling City, Mo. and a host of other family and friends.
Memorial service will be Friday, Aug. 18, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Kent Williams officiating at Stumpff Funeral Chapel, Kimberling City, Mo.
